Using Acne Scar Cream for Acne Scarring

by Martha Fitzharris

A large percentage of teenagers and 20 year olds are afflicted by acne. Older adults also suffer from it. Usually acne breakouts disappear without a trace, but severe acne can leave you skin scarred.

Scarring is part of the natural healing process. Our immune systems use inflammation or an inflammatory response as a defense mechanism against injury. This is part of the reason why we the healing process produces scarring and blemishes.

Inflammatory response does eliminate pathogens and bacteria, but they also destroy healthy cells and tissue in the process. Minor acne only requires a good acne scars treatment product. In the case of severe acne, extensive acne scarring and surgical interventions are needed.

Some of the most common forms of severe scarring that are harder to treat are:

*Ice-pick scars

*Boxcar scars

*Rolling scars

Ice-pick scars are narrow, sharp scars that make the skin appear to have been punctured with an ice-pick. They are usually less than 2 mm and extend into the deep dermis or subcutaneous layer. Ice-pick scars are usually too deep to correct with skin resurfacing treatments such as dermabrasion or laser resurfacing.

Boxcar scars are rounded atrophic scars that have vertical edges. Unlike ice-pick scars they do not taper to a point at the base. Conventional skin resurfacing techniques that promote scar tissue healing can be used to treat shallow boxcar scars.

Rolling scars appear when healthy, normal skin becomes connected to subcutaneous tissue. This binding is what gives the skin a rippling appearance. They must be corrected by breaking up the subcutaneous bands.

The aforementioned scar types require extensive and, sometimes, invasive acne scar removal treatments. Nevertheless, we can provide help for less severe scars with our line of natural acne scars treatment creams. Thanks to their natural composition, they can effectively yet gently dissolve scars and blemishes left behind by acne breakouts.

The ingredients included in our acne scar treatment cream are selected precisely because their combination provides effective anti irritant, anti microbial and anti inflammatory properties. It also liquefies sebum and regulates its production without causing dryness or other side effects that can further damage your skin. Due to its natural nature, it can be used for any skin type or skin condition.

We also include snail serum in our acne scars cream because it provides the skin with multiple antioxidants, antimicrobial peptides, enzymes and activators of skin regeneration. The enzymes help dissolve scars and damaged tissue, and the peptides inhibit dangerous, pathogenic skin bacteria, including acne bacteria P. acnes.

The acne scar treatment you should use is determined by the type of scars you have. Bioskincare is the perfect acne scar cream for treating all kinds of acne scars. If you use it with other acne treatment products like Bioskinclear, you can improve your skin condition considerably.
